An alphabetical index of the places named in the Book of Mormon text, as adjudicated by the roster census — each entry gives the first occurrence, the text’s words there, and a one-clause identification locating the place as the text locates it.
Basis: this roster is built from the capitalized-token census defined by scripts/data/census-scan-spec.md (sha256 ce404dd4386b) over the verse lines of the Book of Mormon — 660 candidate types, of which 204 were machine-dropped as sentence-initial-only (the classifier flagged 207; 3 were rescued into the census by hand) and the rest adjudicated by hand (the person/place filter is lead judgment, never a script’s call); it yields the 154 place entries below, 1 of them by typed beyond-scan exemption for entities named without capitalization, which the scan cannot see by construction (282 person entries live on the companion roster); the separate header pass ran and found no header-only entities.

Aaron (the city)
Alma 8:13 — “the city which was called Aaron” — city toward which Alma took his journey when he was cast out of Ammonihah.
Ablom
Ether 9:3 — “came to a place which was called Ablom, by the seashore” — the place by the seashore, eastward of the place where the Nephites were destroyed, where Omer pitched his tent.
Agosh
Ether 14:15 — “he came to the plains of Agosh” — the plains to which Lib pursued Coriantumr, and where Coriantumr gave him battle and smote him until he died (Ether 14:16).
Aiath
2 Nephi 20:28 — “He is come to Aiath” — the station he comes to before Migron, in the march that halts at Nob against the hill of Jerusalem (2 Nephi 20:32).
Akish (the wilderness)
Ether 14:3 — “did pursue him to the wilderness of Akish” — the wilderness into which Coriantumr pursued the brother of Shared after beating him in battle.
Ammonihah
Alma 8:6 — “a city which was called Ammonihah” — city three days journey north of the land of Melek, its land bearing the same name (Alma 8:7).
Amnihu
Alma 2:15 — “the hill Amnihu” — hill east of the river Sidon by the land of Zarahemla, where the Amlicites began to make war.
Amulon (the land)
Mosiah 23:31 — “in a place which they called Amulon” — land the priests of king Noah possessed and tilled, reckoned with Shemlon and Shilom under the Lamanite king (Mosiah 24:1).
Anathoth
2 Nephi 20:30 — “O poor Anathoth” — the place addressed as poor beside Gallim and Laish in the call to lift up the voice.
Angola
Mormon 2:4 — “we did come to the city of Angola” — the city the people of Mormon took and fortified, out of which the Lamanites drove them.
Ani-Anti
Alma 21:11 — “a village which was called Ani-Anti” — village Aaron came over to on departing the synagogue, where Muloki and Ammah were preaching the word.
Antionum (the land)
Alma 31:3 — “a land which they called Antionum” — the land where the Zoramites gathered, east of the land of Zarahemla and south of Jershon, near the seashore.
Antiparah
Alma 56:14 — “the city of Antiparah” — the city Helaman marched near as if bound for a city beyond it in the borders by the seashore (Alma 56:31).
Antipas (the mount)
Alma 47:7 — “the mount which was called Antipas” — the mount the Lamanites gathered upon in preparation to battle, near the valley where Amalickiah camped his army (Alma 47:9).
Antum
Mormon 1:3 — “go to the land Antum, unto a hill which shall be called Shim” — the land holding the hill Shim, where the sacred engravings concerning this people were deposited unto the Lord.
Arpad
2 Nephi 20:9 — “Is not Hamath as Arpad” — the place the Assyrian sets as the equal of Hamath in his boast.
Assyria
2 Nephi 17:17 — “the king of Assyria” — the realm whose king the Lord shall bring upon Ahaz and his people, from beyond the river (2 Nephi 17:20).

Babylon
1 Nephi 1:13 — “carried away captive into Babylon” — the place into which many from Jerusalem should be carried away captive when the city was destroyed.
Bashan
2 Nephi 12:13 — “all the oaks of Bashan” — the place of the oaks upon which the day of the Lord shall come, named beside the cedars of Lebanon.
Bethabara
1 Nephi 10:9 — “he should baptize in Bethabara, beyond Jordan” — the place beyond Jordan where the father of Nephi said the Messiah should be baptized with water.
Boaz
Mormon 4:20 — “they came to the city Boaz” — the city where the fleeing people stood boldly, unbeaten until the Lamanites came against them the second time.
Bountiful (Nephite land)
Alma 22:29 — “the land which they called Bountiful” — land at the northern reach of the Nephite possessions, beyond the wilderness at the head of the river Sidon.
Bountiful (Old World)
1 Nephi 17:5 — “the land which we called Bountiful” — the land of much fruit and wild honey the company came to, beside the sea they called Irreantum.

2 Nephi 20:9 — “Is not Calno as Carchemish” — the place the Assyrian sets as the equal of Carchemish in his boast.

Comnor
Ether 14:28 — “near the hill Comnor” — the hill near the valley of Shurr where Coriantumr gathered his armies and sounded a trumpet unto the armies of Shiz.
Corihor (the land)
Ether 14:27 — “they fled to the land of Corihor” — the land to which the armies of Shiz fled before Coriantumr, with its valley where they pitched their tents (Ether 14:28).
Cumeni
Alma 56:14 — “the city of Cumeni” — one of the cities the Lamanites possessed when Helaman arrived at the city of Judea (Alma 56:15).
Cumorah
Mormon 6:2 — “gather together our people unto the land of Cumorah, by a hill which was called Cumorah” — the land by the hill of the same name, in a land of many waters, rivers, and fountains (Mormon 6:4).
Cush
2 Nephi 21:11 — “and from Cush” — one of the places from which the Lord shall recover the remnant of his people, listed after Pathros.

Damascus
2 Nephi 17:8 — “the head of Syria is Damascus” — the head of Syria, whose own head is Rezin.
David (the land)
Mormon 2:5 — “drive us forth out of the land of David” — the land out of which the Lamanites also drove the people of Mormon.
Desolation (the city)
Mormon 3:7 — “the Lamanites did come down to the city of Desolation” — the city in the borders by the narrow pass leading into the land southward (Mormon 3:5), where the Lamanites came down to battle.
Desolation (the land northward)
Alma 22:30 — “the land which they called Desolation” — the land so far northward it came into the land of the people destroyed, the first landing place of the people of Zarahemla.

Eden
2 Nephi 2:19 — “driven out of the garden of Eden” — the garden Adam and Eve were driven out of after partaking of the forbidden fruit, thereafter to till the earth.
Edom
2 Nephi 21:14 — “lay their hand upon Edom and Moab” — the place named with Moab as those upon whom they shall lay their hand.
Egypt
1 Nephi 5:14 — “who was sold into Egypt” — the land into which Joseph was sold, out of which the fathers were led and preserved in the wilderness (1 Nephi 19:10).
Elam
2 Nephi 21:11 — “and from Elam” — one of the places from which the Lord shall recover the remnant of his people, listed after Cush.
Ephraim (the hill)
Ether 7:9 — “he came to the hill Ephraim” — the hill out of which Shule molten steel for swords before he returned to the city Nehor.

Gad
3 Nephi 9:10 — “the city of Gad, and the city of Kishkumen” — the city burned with Laman and Josh, with its inhabitants, for casting out and stoning the prophets.
Gadiandi
3 Nephi 9:8 — “the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah” — the city sunk, with hills and valleys made in its place and its inhabitants buried up in the earth.
Gadiomnah
3 Nephi 9:8 — “the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah” — the city sunk with Gadiandi, hills and valleys made in its place and its inhabitants buried up.
Galilee
2 Nephi 19:1 — “in Galilee of the nations” — the region beyond Jordan, by the way of the Red Sea, more grievously afflicted afterwards.
Gallim
2 Nephi 20:30 — “O daughter of Gallim” — the place whose daughter is called to lift up the voice, to be heard as far as Laish.
Geba
2 Nephi 20:29 — “taken up their lodging at Geba” — the place where they lodge after going over the passage, in the march that halts at Nob against the hill of Jerusalem (2 Nephi 20:32).
Gebim
2 Nephi 20:31 — “the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee” — the place whose inhabitants gather themselves to flee, named beside removed Madmenah.
Gibeah
2 Nephi 20:29 — “Gibeah of Saul is fled” — the place of Saul that flees at the advance, listed after Ramath.
Gid (the city)
Alma 51:26 — “the city of Gid” — a city on the east borders by the seashore, among the many of which Amalickiah took possession.
Gideon (the place)
Alma 2:20 — “in the valley of Gideon” — the valley east of the river Sidon (Alma 6:7) where Alma camped, named after the Gideon whom Nehor slew.
Gilgal (the city)
3 Nephi 9:6 — “the city of Gilgal have I caused to be sunk” — the city sunk in the destruction, its inhabitants buried up in the depths of the earth.
Gilgal (the valley)
Ether 13:27 — “they did meet in the valley of Gilgal” — the valley where the armies of Coriantumr and Shared met in battle, and where Coriantumr slew Shared (Ether 13:30).
Gimgimno
3 Nephi 9:8 — “the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno” — the city sunk last in the catalog, hills and valleys made in its place and its inhabitants buried up.
Gomorrah
2 Nephi 23:19 — “God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah” — the place God overthrew with Sodom, the pattern for what Babylon shall become.

Hamath
2 Nephi 20:9 — “Is not Hamath as Arpad” — the place the Assyrian sets as the equal of Arpad in his boast.
Helam (the land)
Mosiah 23:19 — “they called the land Helam” — land where the people of Alma prospered and which they named, eight days journey into the wilderness (Mosiah 23:3).
Hermounts
Alma 2:37 — “the wilderness, which was called Hermounts” — the wilderness on the west and on the north, infested by wild and ravenous beasts, whither the scattered fled.
Heshlon
Ether 13:28 — “he came to the plains of Heshlon” — the plains to which Coriantumr pursued Shared, and from which Shared drove him back to the valley of Gilgal (Ether 13:29).
Heth (the land)
Ether 8:2 — “came and dwelt in the land of Heth” — the land where Jared dwelt after rebelling against his father, and from which he gained the half of the kingdom.
Horeb
3 Nephi 25:4 — “which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel” — the place where the law of Moses was commanded unto him for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
I
Irreantum
1 Nephi 17:5 — “the sea, which we called Irreantum” — the sea beheld from the land called Bountiful, the name being interpreted as many waters.
Ishmael (the land)
Alma 17:19 — “the land being called after the sons of Ishmael” — the land Ammon entered, called after the sons of Ishmael who became Lamanites, ruled by king Lamoni (Alma 17:21).

Jacob (the city)
3 Nephi 9:8 — “the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno” — the city sunk with Gadiandi and Gadiomnah, hills and valleys made in its place and its inhabitants buried up.
Jacobugath
3 Nephi 9:9 — “that great city Jacobugath, which was inhabited by the people of king Jacob” — the great city inhabited by the people of king Jacob, burned because of their secret murders and combinations.
Jashon
Mormon 2:16 — “they came even to the land of Jashon” — the land the fleeing Nephites reached, its city near where Ammaron had deposited the records (Mormon 2:17).
Jershon
Alma 27:22 — “we will give up the land of Jershon” — land on the east by the sea, joining and south of the land Bountiful, given up for an inheritance.
Jerusalem (Lamanite city)
Alma 21:1 — “called by the Lamanites, Jerusalem” — land joining the borders of Mormon, named after the land of the nativity of their fathers, where a great city of the same name was built (Alma 21:2).
Jerusalem (Old World)
1 Nephi 1:4 — “having dwelt at Jerusalem in all his days” — the great city where Lehi dwelt all his days, in the land Nephi journeyed up to from the wilderness (1 Nephi 3:9).
Jordan (the city)
Mormon 5:3 — “we had fled to the city of Jordan” — the city the people of Mormon had fled to, where the Lamanites were driven back and did not take it.
Jordan (the river)
1 Nephi 10:9 — “in Bethabara, beyond Jordan” — the river beyond which Bethabara lies, crossed before the driving out of the children of the land (1 Nephi 17:32).
Josh (the city)
3 Nephi 9:10 — “the city of Laman, and the city of Josh” — the city burned with the city of Laman, with its inhabitants, for casting out and stoning the prophets.
Joshua (the land)
Mormon 2:6 — “came to the land of Joshua, which was in the borders west by the seashore” — the land in the borders west by the seashore, reached by the people of Mormon in their march.
Judah
1 Nephi 1:4 — “Zedekiah, king of Judah” — the kingdom over which Zedekiah reigned when Lehi dwelt at Jerusalem and prophets warned the great city must be destroyed.
Judea
Alma 56:9 — “the city of Judea” — the city Helaman marched to with his young men to assist Antipus, leader over the people of that part of the land.

Kishkumen (the city)
3 Nephi 9:10 — “the city of Gad, and the city of Kishkumen” — the city burned last in the catalog, with its inhabitants, for casting out and stoning the prophets.

Laish
2 Nephi 20:30 — “cause it to be heard unto Laish” — the place unto which the voice of the daughter of Gallim is to be heard.
Laman (the city)
3 Nephi 9:10 — “the city of Laman, and the city of Josh” — the city burned with fire, with its inhabitants, for casting out the prophets and stoning those sent to them.
Laman (the river)
1 Nephi 2:8 — “he called the name of the river, Laman” — the river named by the father of Nephi, emptying into the Red Sea, with the valley in the borders near its mouth.
Lebanon
2 Nephi 12:13 — “all the cedars of Lebanon” — the place of the cedars that are high and lifted up, upon which the day of the Lord shall come.
Lehi (the city)
Alma 50:15 — “a particular manner which they called Lehi” — one of the cities the Nephites built on the north, lying in the north by the borders of the seashore.
Lehi (the land south)
Helaman 6:10 — “the land south was called Lehi” — the land south, set over against the land north, into which the Lord brought Lehi.
Lemuel (Lamanite city)
Alma 23:12 — “in the city of Lemuel” — a Lamanite city listed beside Shimnilom and the lands of Shilom and Shemlon among the converted cities (Alma 23:13).
Lemuel (the valley)
1 Nephi 2:14 — “in the valley of Lemuel” — the valley in the borders near the mouth of the river Laman (1 Nephi 2:8), where the father of Nephi spoke with power.

Madmenah
2 Nephi 20:31 — “Madmenah is removed” — the place removed as the advance comes, named beside Gebim whose inhabitants gather to flee.
Manti (the hill)
Alma 1:15 — “upon the top of the hill Manti” — the hill upon whose top Nehor was carried and where he suffered an ignominious death.
Manti (the land)
Alma 16:6 — “the borders of the land of Manti” — border land by the head of the river Sidon (Alma 22:27), beyond whose borders lies the south wilderness.
Melek
Alma 8:3 — “the land of Melek” — land on the west of the river Sidon, by the borders of the wilderness, whither Alma took his journey.
Michmash
2 Nephi 20:28 — “at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages” — the station where he lays up his carriages, in the march that halts at Nob against the hill of Jerusalem (2 Nephi 20:32).
Middoni
Alma 20:2 — “the land of Middoni” — the prison land where Aaron, Muloki, and Ammah were held, reached by going down from the land where Lamoni reigned (Alma 20:7).
Midian (the land)
Alma 24:5 — “came forth to the land of Midian” — the land where Ammon met all his brethren, and from which they went to the land of Ishmael.
Migron
2 Nephi 20:28 — “he is passed to Migron” — the station he passes to after Aiath, in the march that halts at Nob against the hill of Jerusalem (2 Nephi 20:32).
Minon
Alma 2:24 — “the land of Minon” — land above the land of Zarahemla, in the course of the land of Nephi, where a Lamanite host was seen.
Moab
2 Nephi 21:14 — “lay their hand upon Edom and Moab” — the place named with Edom as those upon whom they shall lay their hand.
Mocum
3 Nephi 9:7 — “the city of Mocum and the inhabitants thereof” — the city named with Onihah and Jerusalem, in whose stead waters were caused to come up.
Moriancumer
Ether 2:13 — “they called the name of the place Moriancumer” — the seashore place by the great sea which divides the lands, where Jared and his brethren dwelt in tents four years.
Morianton (the land)
Alma 50:25 — “the land of Morianton” — the land joining upon the borders of Lehi, on the borders by the seashore, contended over by the two peoples.
Moriantum
Moroni 9:9 — “that of our people in Moriantum” — the place of the abomination the writer charges against his own people, who took the daughters of the Lamanites prisoner.
Mormon (the place)
Mosiah 18:4 — “a place which was called Mormon” — place in the borders of the land, infested at seasons by wild beasts, which received its name from the king.
Moron (the land)
Ether 7:5 — “the land of Moron where the king dwelt” — the land where the king dwelt, near the land which the Nephites call Desolation (Ether 7:6).
Moroni (the city)
Alma 50:13 — “called the name of the city Moroni” — the city the Nephites founded by the east sea, bordered on the south by the line of the Lamanite possessions.
Moronihah (the city)
3 Nephi 8:10 — “the earth was carried up upon the city of Moronihah” — the city upon which the earth was carried up, so that a great mountain stood in its place.
Mulek (the city)
Alma 51:26 — “the city of Mulek” — one of the cities on the east borders by the seashore of which Amalickiah took possession.
Mulek (the land north)
Helaman 6:10 — “the land north was called Mulek” — the land north, named after the son of Zedekiah, whom the Lord brought into it.

Nahom
1 Nephi 16:34 — “buried in the place which was called Nahom” — the place where Ishmael was buried, from which the company traveled nearly eastward thereafter (1 Nephi 17:1).
Nazareth
1 Nephi 11:13 — “I beheld the city of Nazareth” — the city Nephi beheld in vision along with great Jerusalem and other cities, wherein he beheld a virgin exceedingly fair.
Nehor (the Jaredite land)
Ether 7:4 — “dwelt in the land of Nehor” — the land Corihor went over to and dwelt in after rebelling against his father, and where the city Nehor stood (Ether 7:9).
Nephi (the land)
2 Nephi 5:8 — “call the name of the place Nephi” — the place the people of Nephi named where they pitched their tents after journeying many days in the wilderness (2 Nephi 5:7).
Nephihah (the city)
Alma 50:14 — “the name of the city, or the land, Nephihah” — the city and land founded between the cities of Moroni and Aaron, joining the borders of both.
New Jerusalem
3 Nephi 20:22 — “it shall be a New Jerusalem” — the New Jerusalem this land shall be when the Lord establishes this people in it, fulfilling the covenant with Jacob.
Nimrod (the valley)
Ether 2:1 — “the name of the valley was Nimrod, being called after the mighty hunter” — the valley northward into which Jared and his brother went down with their families, named after the mighty hunter.
Noah (the land)
Alma 16:3 — “around the borders of Noah” — the land whose borders the Lamanites wasted with the city of Ammonihah when they came in upon the wilderness side (Alma 16:2).
Nob
2 Nephi 20:32 — “As yet shall he remain at Nob that day” — the place where he remains that day, from which he shakes his hand against the hill of Jerusalem.

Ogath
Ether 15:10 — “in a place which was called Ogath” — the place southward to which the beaten armies of Shiz fled and where they pitched their tents.
Omner (the city)
Alma 51:26 — “the city of Omner” — a city on the east borders by the seashore, among those Amalickiah took possession of.
Onidah (place of arms)
Alma 47:5 — “the place which was called Onidah” — the place of arms to which the Lamanites fled from the approaching army, and where Amalickiah went to gain them.
Onidah (the hill)
Alma 32:4 — “upon the hill Onidah” — the hill where Alma was teaching when a great multitude of the poor came to him.
Onihah
3 Nephi 9:7 — “the city of Onihah and the inhabitants thereof” — the city, with its inhabitants, in whose stead waters were caused to come up.
Ophir
2 Nephi 23:12 — “the golden wedge of Ophir” — the source of the golden wedge than which a man shall be made more precious.
Oreb
2 Nephi 20:26 — “at the rock of Oreb” — the rock at which Midian was slaughtered, the measure of the scourge the Lord of Hosts shall stir up.

2 Nephi 24:29 — “Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina” — the land told not to rejoice, against which a smoke shall come from the north (2 Nephi 24:31).
Pathros
2 Nephi 21:11 — “and from Pathros” — one of the places from which the Lord shall recover the remnant of his people, listed after Egypt.
Promised Land
1 Nephi 2:20 — “shall be led to a land of promise” — the land choice above all other lands, prepared of the Lord, arrived at after many days of sailing (1 Nephi 18:23).

Ramah
Ether 15:11 — “did pitch their tents by the hill Ramah” — the hill by which the army of Coriantumr pitched their tents, the same hill where Mormon hid up the sacred records.
Ramath
2 Nephi 20:29 — “Ramath is afraid” — the place afraid at the advance, named between Geba and Gibeah of Saul.
Rameumptom
Alma 31:21 — “the place was called by them Rameumptom” — the standing place in the center of the Zoramite synagogue (Alma 31:13), whose name the record interprets as the holy stand.
Red Sea
1 Nephi 2:5 — “the borders near the shore of the Red Sea” — the sea by whose shore the family of Nephi came down, traveling in the wilderness in the borders nearer it.
Riplah
Alma 43:31 — “the south of the hill Riplah” — the hill the Lamanites passed before crossing the river Sidon (Alma 43:35), where Moroni concealed part of his army.
Ripliancum
Ether 15:8 — “the waters of Ripliancum” — the waters whose name the record interprets as meaning large, or exceeding all, where Coriantumr and Shiz pitched their tents.

Alma 13:17 — “a king over the land of Salem” — the land over which Melchizedek reigned as king.
Samaria
2 Nephi 17:9 — “the head of Ephraim is Samaria” — the head of Ephraim, whose own head is the son of Remaliah.

Alma 17:26 — “the water of Sebus” — the place of water whither all the Lamanites drove their flocks.
Shazer
1 Nephi 16:13 — “we did call the name of the place Shazer” — the place where the company pitched tents after traveling four days in a nearly south-southeast direction.
Shelem
Ether 3:1 — “the mount, which they called the mount Shelem, because of its exceeding height” — the mount named for its exceeding height, where the brother of Jared molten sixteen small stones out of a rock.
Shem (the land)
Mormon 2:20 — “we had come northward to the land which was called Shem” — the land northward to which the people of Nephi were driven when they were hunted.
Shemlon
Mosiah 10:7 — “round about the land of Shemlon” — land possessed by the Lamanites, overlooked with the land of Shilom from the tower near the temple (Mosiah 11:12).
Sherrizah
Moroni 9:7 — “they took from the tower of Sherrizah” — the place with the tower from which the Lamanites took prisoners, the armies of the Lamanites lying betwixt it and the writer (Moroni 9:17).
Shiloah
2 Nephi 18:6 — “the waters of Shiloah that go softly” — the waters that go softly, refused by the people who rejoice instead in Rezin and the son of Remaliah.
Shilom
Mosiah 7:5 — “north of the land of Shilom” — land held with the land of Nephi under one king (Mosiah 7:7), with a hill lying to its north.
Shim
Mormon 1:3 — “unto a hill which shall be called Shim” — the hill in the land Antum where all the sacred engravings concerning this people were deposited unto the Lord.
Shimnilom
Alma 23:12 — “in the city of Shimnilom” — a Lamanite city listed with the lands of Shilom and Shemlon among the cities converted unto the Lord (Alma 23:13).
Shinar
2 Nephi 21:11 — “and from Shinar” — one of the places from which the Lord shall recover the remnant of his people, listed after Elam.
Shurr
Ether 14:28 — “the valley of Shurr” — the valley near the hill Comnor where Coriantumr pitched his tents.
Sidom
Alma 15:1 — “the land of Sidom” — land into which Alma and Amulek came out from Ammonihah, where the people cast out of that land had gathered.
Sidon
Alma 2:15 — “east of the river Sidon” — river running by the land of Zarahemla, with the hill Amnihu on its east.
Sinai
Mosiah 12:33 — “in the mount of Sinai” — the mount where the Lord delivered the commandments unto Moses.
Sinim
1 Nephi 21:12 — “these from the land of Sinim” — the land from which some shall come to the house of Israel, with others from the north and from the west.
Siron
Alma 39:3 — “over into the land of Siron” — the land among the borders of the Lamanites into which Corianton went after the harlot Isabel.
Sodom

Omni 1:12 — “made king over the land of Zarahemla” — the land Mosiah was made king over, come down into after departing the land of Nephi through the wilderness (Omni 1:13).

Alma 56:14 — “the city of Zeezrom” — a city named with the land of Manti among those the Lamanites had obtained possession of (Alma 56:13).

Ether 12:30 — “said unto the mountain Zerin” — the mountain the brother of Jared commanded to remove, and it was removed.

1 Nephi 13:37 — “who shall seek to bring forth my Zion” — the place the Lamb calls his own, sought by the blessed, out of which the law shall go forth (2 Nephi 12:3).
