The corpus's Isaiah-reading instructions, now issued as a commandment by the risen Lord: 'ye ought to search these things… search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah' (23:1). This restates from the visitation the hermeneutic Nephi had set out in 2 Nephi 25 - Isaiah is hard but 'of great worth… in the last days' (25:8) and will all be fulfilled 'when they shall come to pass' (25:7); 3 Nephi 23:2-3 makes the same whole-fulfillment claim ('all things that he spake have been and shall be').
