The capital's burning, named first by the survivors then by the divine voice in the same epithet. The phrase 'that great city Zarahemla' occurs at four verses in the corpus: Helaman 1:18, 3 Nephi 8:24, 3 Nephi 9:3, and 4 Nephi 1:8 — the rebuilding, 'even that great city Zarahemla did they cause to be built again'. Helaman 1:18 (already on the page) is the pre-fall reputation that left the capital undefended -- the Lamanites 'durst not come into the heart of their lands to attack that great city Zarahemla'; the two 3 Nephi verses are its burning. 8:24 is the survivors' counterfactual regret in the three-day darkness ('would not have been burned in that great city Zarahemla'); 9:3 is the voice of Christ answering with the accomplished fact ('that great city Zarahemla have I burned with fire, and the inhabitants thereof'). The distinctive datum is the shared four-word epithet 'that great city Zarahemla'; 'burned with fire' alone is NOT distinctive -- it recurs in the same divine inventory at 3 Nephi 9:9 (Jacobugath) and 9:10 (Laman/Josh/Gad/Kishkumen), and eschatologically at Jacob 5:77 and 6:3. The narrator's report at 8:8 ('the city of Zarahemla did take fire') completes the three-fold naming (narrator / survivors / divine voice) but uses 'the city of Zarahemla', not the shared epithet, so it is not the registered end.
