Moroni, writing his editorial frame ('And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things'), restates Alma's Onidah faith-definition as his own gloss. Shared-phrasing on the faith / hope / not-seen kernel, NOT near-verbatim -- both quotes are verbatim from their own verses, but no verbatim run spans both. Ether reads 'things which are hoped for and not seen'; Alma reads 'things which are not seen, which are true' -- the shared distinctive kernel is faith + hope(d) + 'not seen'.
