The dead king's legal legacy is remembered AS authoritative scripture. The tightest single-verse contact for 'the laws of Mosiah… which the Lord commanded him to give' is the law-establishment verse of the kingship letter, Mosiah 29:25: the judges' law was 'given you by our fathers… and… given them by the hand of the Lord' — the same law, framed as divinely commanded through Mosiah. Tier discipline: this is a paraphrase/allusion, not a quotation.
