Samuel fuses Alma's restoration formula onto the agency charter: in the very next verse after Helaman 14:30's 'act for yourselves', he says men 'can do good and be restored unto that which is good'. The exact phrase 'restored unto that which is good' occurs at exactly two loci in the corpus: Alma 41:3 ('they should also, at the last day, be restored unto that which is good') and Helaman 14:31 - a clean two-locus pair. Alma 41:4 carries only the evil counterpart ('they shall be restored unto them for evil'), and Alma 41:13 has the related but differently-worded 'good for that which is good'. So 41:3 is the single correct far end for this phrase. Samuel's verse 14:31 also runs the evil counterpart ('have that which is evil restored unto you'), matching Alma's two-sided restoration (Alma 41:3-5) in structure as well as wording.
