Moroni's announcement of the buried record's coming forth restates the dust-voice figure Nephi prophesied for the destroyed Nephites. The exact phrase 'even as if one should speak from the dead' is corpus-unique (grep: Mormon 8:26 only); the broader speak-from-the-dead figure recurs at 2 Nephi 27:13 ('the words of the faithful should speak as if it were from the dead') and Moroni's own Mormon 9:30 ('as though I spake from the dead'). 2 Nephi 26:16 is itself the near-verbatim of Isaiah 29:4 (see 2ne-isa29-dust), so Moroni's 8:26 restates the same Isaiah-29 oracle. Shared element is the prophetic figure (the destroyed/dead speaking as the record comes forth), not verbatim wording. Leg: Mormon 8:16 ('it shall be brought out of the earth, and it shall shine forth out of darkness') is the same coming-forth announced.
