Both name unbelief as the SOLE cause of the gifts/miracles ceasing - and both ends are Moroni's pen (Mormon 8:1): 'done away… because of unbelief' (Moroni 10:24), 'ceaseth to do miracles… because that they dwindle in unbelief' (Mormon 9:20).
