The captive king's comfort-formula at the temple in Nephi is spoken by the voice of the Lord to the other captive people in Helam. 'lift up your heads' + comfort-clause occurs only at these two verses; the phrase's other occurrences in the record (2 Nephi 9:3, Jacob 3:2, Mosiah 7:19) complete it with rejoicing or receiving the word instead. Re-scoped and recounted 2026-08-10 at the D&C freeze, which corrected a pre-existing error as well as adding one: the parenthetical was labelled corpus-wide but listed only record verses. Corpus-wide the phrase stands at nine verses — those five plus Psalms 24:7, Psalms 24:9, Luke 21:28 and D&C 110:5, which completes it with rejoicing. Divergences: 'be comforted' vs 'be of good comfort'; Limhi grounds the comfort in coming escape, the Lord in the covenant (24:13 continues 'for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me').
