The phrase 'the evil spirit' + the citation formula 'spoken of by' co-occur at exactly these two verses in the corpus (Mosiah 27:30 has 'spoken of by our fathers' of other content; 2 Nephi 25:18 'spoken of by the prophets' of the Messiah; Mosiah 2:37 and 2 Nephi 32:8 have 'the evil spirit' without the formula). The cited teaching itself is unpreserved - Omni 1:12-23, Mosiah I's entire in-person appearance, quotes no words of his.
