Offered to weigh. Both texts, inside their whore-figure material, gather a confederacy to war on the Lamb and record the Lamb's victory. 'fight against the Lamb' stands only at 1 Nephi 14:13 in the corpus; 'make war with the Lamb' only at Revelation 17:14. What keeps this interpretive rather than paraphrase: the shared wording reduces to the Lamb as the object of a war-verb, and the actors differ — in 1 Nephi the mother of abominations gathers multitudes among the Gentiles, in Revelation ten horns who are ten kings give their power to the beast. The victory clauses also sit differently: Revelation states it in 17:14, while 1 Nephi states it in the following verse, 14:14, where the power of the Lamb descends upon the saints. Reported without scoring: Revelation 17:14 continues 'for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings', a formula with no Book of Mormon counterpart (the corpus carries it at Revelation 17:14, 19:16, 1 Timothy 6:15 and, in parts, Deuteronomy 10:17, Psalms 136:3, Daniel 2:37, Ezra 7:12, Ezekiel 26:7). Note also that the title 'Lamb of God' never appears in Revelation, whose title is 'the Lamb' absolute; in the corpus 'Lamb of God' stands in the Book of Mormon, at John 1:29 and 1:36, and at D&C 88:106 ('The Lamb of God hath overcome and trodden the wine-press alone') — thirty-six verses in all, recounted 2026-08-10 at the D&C freeze.
