Both clauses pair the sword of Laban with the directing instrument and set the instrument in a wilderness. Divergences: the revelation reads 'the miraculous directors' (plural) where Mosiah reads 'the ball or director' (singular); the revelation attributes the directors to Lehi 'on the borders of the Red Sea', Mosiah to 'our fathers' in the wilderness without locating them.
