Registered as allusion: the revelation reports the sense of what was said to the fathers, not its words, and the second half of what it reports ('but not my presence') corresponds to the following verse of the older account, Exodus 33:3, which supplies the reason the revelation omits. The revision follows immediately at D&C 103:20 - angel to angels, and the presence restored. 'mine angel shall go up before you' stands at exactly one distinct frozen verse in the corpus, and 'the goodly land' at two, D&C 103:20 and D&C 99:7.
