Divergences: what the formula measures - in the commandment the visiting of iniquity on children, in the revelation the extent of an avenging of enemies; and the commandment's ground, jealousy over images, has no counterpart in the revelation. 'unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me' stands at four distinct frozen verses in the corpus: these two, Deuteronomy 5:9, which reproduces the commandment, and D&C 105:30, which repeats the revelation's own use of it - both disclosed, not paired.
