Divergences: who calls for the account and when - the revelation defers it to 'the day of judgment' where the parable's lord demands it on the spot and dismisses the steward in the same breath. The revelation's requirement is general, stated of stewards as a class (D&C 70:9); the parable's is of one man. Registered as shared phrasing rather than quotation: apart from the differing possessive, the run 'account of … stewardship' is the whole of the overlap. 'stewardship' stands at twenty-nine distinct frozen verses in the corpus, twenty-six of them in the Doctrine and Covenants; the other three are Luke 16:2, 16:3, and 16:4.
