Divergences: the gospel's clause is the second half of a contrast whose first half is bread; the revelation drops the contrast and attaches the positive half to forsaking evil. 'that proceedeth' reads 'which proceedeth forth'. 'out of the mouth of God' stands at four distinct frozen verses in the corpus: these two, Moroni 7:25 and Moses 5:15. Moroni 7:25 is nearer in wording and is disclosed; the gospel verse is paired because it, like the revelation, states the clause as a rule of living rather than as a description of an event.
