The section names Moses and gives five of his words. 'cut off from among the people' stands at six distinct frozen verses in the corpus: 1 Nephi 22:20, 3 Nephi 20:23, Joseph Smith-Matthew 1:55, Joseph Smith-History 1:40, D&C 1:14, and D&C 133:63. Two of the six also attribute the words to Moses and a third to what Moses spake. The words are not in the corpus's frozen Deuteronomy in this form - Deuteronomy 18:19 reads 'I will require it of him' - and the nearest New Testament carrier reads 'destroyed from among the people', at Acts 3:23. So the section names a prophet whose frozen book, as the corpus holds it, does not carry the sentence in these words; the page reports that and does not resolve it.
