The doctrine of Christ restated by its subject at the Bountiful visitation. The triad-unity clause 'the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one' (11:36) restates 2 Nephi 31:21's 'the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God' -- with the subject now naming himself in the first person ('I') where Nephi's third-person formula named 'the Son'. The unity clause is verbatim at 11:36, NOT in 11:32-35; this record is anchored at 11:36. The sermon states the triad-unity twice; the other statement stands EARLIER in text order, at 11:27 ('the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one; and I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one'), there keeping the third-person 'the Son' verbally nearer 31:21; the binary 'the Father and I are one' stands first in 11:27 itself and recurs at 20:35 and 28:10 -- five in the corpus in that word order, the other two in the Doctrine and Covenants at 50:43 and 93:3 (recounted 2026-08-10 at the D&C freeze; D&C 50:43 reads 'And the Father and I are one. The repent-believe-baptize core is shared (11:32-34: 'the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in me. And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved').
