3 Nephi 8:10 · 1 Nephi 19:11
This connection's citations are checked against the source text.
The mark sits beside every quote a connection carries. It reports one thing: those words were found in the frozen source text at the reference this page cites, allowing only typographic differences such as curly quotes, dash forms and spacing.
It is not a tier signal, and it is not a judgment about the connection. Where a card carries the Interpretive badge, the reading is still offered with its evidence for you to weigh — the mark speaks only to the citations.
The badges and the mark are separate signals: Textual and Interpretive name the kind of claim a connection makes, while the mark reports that the connection's citations were checked.
Second distinctly-Zenos mode fulfilled: 'by mountains which shall be carried up' (1 Nephi 19:11, the Zenos mode-list) executed at 3 Nephi 8:10, where 'the earth was carried up upon the city of Moronihah' until 'there became a great mountain.' Shared verbatim bigram 'carried up' plus the mountain motif. The heaved-up sense of 'carried up' is unique to these two verses; the other 'carried up' / 'carried upon' occurrences (1 Nephi 22:6; 2 Nephi 6:6; 1 Nephi 21:22; and Isaiah 49:22) are all the Isaiah 'carried upon their shoulders' Gentile-nursing passages, an unrelated context; a third, plain physical-carrying sense appears at Ether 6:2 — 'the stones which the brother of Jared had carried up into the mount' — and corpus-wide the frozen New Testament adds the ascension sense at Luke 24:51 ('carried up into heaven'). The heaved-up sense remains unique to the two ends. Distinct from the Samuel fulfillment pairs (8:18 <-> Helaman 14:22; 8:23 <-> Helaman 14:27): different near-end, different far end (1 Nephi 19, Zenos), and again a mode Samuel's Helaman 14 death-sign never names -- there are no mountains-carried-up in Samuel's sign.
