RAW-WORDING CATCH: 4 Nephi 1:12 reads the GERUND 'in meeting together oft', NOT 'did meet together oft' -- quoted exactly as raw. DISTRIBUTION: the exact string 'meet together oft' occurs at three verses — the command form 3 Nephi 18:22 and the church-order report Moroni 6:5 ('did meet together oft, to fast and to pray') and 6:6 ('did meet together oft to partake of bread and wine'), the practice-kept legs; the gerund 'meeting together oft' at only one verse, 4 Nephi 1:12; the cognate 'gather themselves together oft' at Alma 6:6 ('the children of God were commanded that they should gather themselves together oft, and join in fasting and mighty prayer'), which is EARLIER in the corpus than 3 Nephi 18:22.
