INTERPRETIVE — the identification is the wiki's, not the text's. 1 Nephi 14 names a future writer and predicts a future writing; it never names a book and quotes no line of Revelation. The text's data points: 'Behold one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb' (14:20); 'he shall see and write the remainder of these things' (14:21); 'And he shall also write concerning the end of the world.' (14:22); his writing lies inside the record of the Jews, 'they are written in the book which thou beheld proceeding out of the mouth of the Jew' (14:23); and 'the name of the apostle of the Lamb was John, according to the word of the angel' (14:27). The Revelation end names a John at 1:1, 1:4, 1:9 ('I John, who also am your brother'), 21:2, and 22:8 ('And I John saw these things, and heard them.'). GUARDS. (1) The two paired verses share no wording beyond the proper name John and the word angel, so no textual tier is available: verify_connections.py checks each quote against its own ref only, and a textual-tier record here would pass the gate green on zero verbal correspondence. (2) Revelation never calls its writer an apostle — its only 'apostle' verses are 2:2, 18:20, 21:14. (3) The phrase 'end of the world' does not occur in Revelation (0 hits across the whole of Revelation), so the subject-match at 14:22 rests on content, not on wording. (4) The angelic roles differ and are not equated: an angel names John to Nephi (14:27); an angel signifies the revelation to John (Revelation 1:1). Book of Mormon context: the only other Book of Mormon verses naming a John are 3 Nephi 28:6 ('John, my beloved, who was with me in my ministry') and Ether 4:16 ('my servant John', see eth-cfs-servant-john) — neither names a book. (The wider frozen corpus names Johns freely — the Gospels and Acts throughout, and Joseph Smith—History 1:72 — which is why this census is scoped to the Book of Mormon.) Offered to weigh, not asserted as the text's settled intent.
