The title-formula 'Zedekiah, king of Judah' (with the comma) occurs at exactly three verses in the record (1 Nephi 1:4; 1 Nephi 5:12; Omni 1:15); the Old Testament carries the same king under two comma-less forms - 'Zedekiah king of Judah' at fifteen verses and 'Zedekiah the king of Judah' at three more, all in Jeremiah. The two departures from Jerusalem are dated to the two ends of one reign: Lehi's call in its first year, the Zarahemla departure at its end in captivity. Omni 1:15's 'carried away captive into Babylon' is verbatim from the captivity chain (1 Nephi 1:13; 10:3; cf. 2 Nephi 25:10).
