The fixed sacrament prayers are the liturgical form of what Christ instituted at Bountiful. The bread prayer Moroni 4:3 has the partaker 'witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy Son, and always remember him, and keep his commandments which he hath given them, that they may always have his Spirit to be with them'; 3 Nephi 18:10 has the disciples' act 'witness unto the Father that ye are willing to do that which I have commanded you'. Same covenant-witness clause -- witness / willing / commandment(s) -- paraphrased into the standing prayer. The prayer's other three institution charges sit in the same institution passage: remembrance of the body (Moroni 4:3 'in remembrance of the body of thy Son' <-> 3 Nephi 18:7 'in remembrance of my body'); always-remember and Spirit (Moroni 4:3 'always remember him … always have his Spirit to be with them' <-> 3 Nephi 18:7 / 18:11 'ye do always remember me … ye shall have my Spirit to be with you'). WINE LEG (in-note, not a second record): Moroni 5:2 stands to 3 Nephi 18:11 as the bread prayer stands to the bread institution -- 'in remembrance of the blood of thy Son, which was shed for them … witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they do always remember him … his Spirit to be with them' <-> 18:11 'in remembrance of my blood, which I have shed for you, that ye may witness unto the Father that ye do always remember me … ye shall have my Spirit to be with you'. DISCLOSURE: the exact string 'witness unto the Father' occurs at only two verses, 3 Nephi 18:10 and 18:11, both in this one chapter; both prayers instead read 'witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father'. So the shared element is a PARAPHRASE of the charge, not a verbatim shared string -- hence type paraphrase, not verbatim/shared-phrasing. Distribution (recounted 2026-08-10 at the D&C freeze): the in-remembrance formula = 6 verses ('in remembrance of my body' / 'in remembrance of my blood', 3 Nephi 18:7, 18:11; 'in remembrance of the body' / 'in remembrance of the blood', Moroni 4:3, 5:2 and D&C 20:77, 20:79 -- the D&C's prescription of these same prayers, near-verbatim); 'always remember me' (Christ's first person) = 2 verses, both 3 Nephi 18 (18:7, 18:11); 'always remember him' (the prayers' third person) = 4 verses (Moroni 4:3, 5:2; D&C 20:77, 20:79); 'the flesh and blood of Christ' = 2 verses (Moroni 4:1, the administering frame, and D&C 20:40 'the emblems of the flesh and blood of Christ'), against 3 Nephi 18:28-29 'my flesh and blood'. The doctrine-of-christ.md record 3ne-doc-sacrament-witness-father (3 Nephi 18:10 <-> 2 Nephi 31:14) reads this SAME 18:10 verse toward baptism's covenant-witness and stays there; this record reads 18:10 toward the fixed prayer and is its own endpoint pair (distinct verse-pair, no duplication). far end 18:10 chosen over 18:11 as the single tightest verse for the willing/commandment clause; 18:11 and 18:7 carried in-note.
