The shared element is the categorical denial of change in God rendered in the cognate 'chang-' vocabulary - Mormon's 'neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable' and Moroni's 'no variableness neither shadow of changing' - each set in an eternal frame ('from all eternity to all eternity' / 'the same yesterday, today, and forever'). Not a verbatim multi-word string: the tie is the change-cognate plus the eternal frame.
