Both texts state that the judgment is conducted out of written books. The phrase 'the books which shall be written' stands at exactly two verses in the corpus: 2 Nephi 29:11 and 3 Nephi 27:26; the phrase 'judged out of' stands at three corpus verses — Revelation 20:12 and D&C 128:6 and 128:7 (recounted 2026-08-10 at the D&C freeze), including D&C 128:6's quotation of Revelation 20:12, which names the verse it quotes, and 128:7's expounding of that quotation. Registered as paraphrase rather than shared phrasing because the proposition is common while the wording is not: the risen Lord says the world shall be judged out of the books, Revelation says the dead were judged out of the things written in the books. Variants reported, not scored: Revelation names a second volume, 'the book of life', which 3 Nephi 27:26 does not (the Book of Mormon's only 'book of life' is Alma 5:58 — see rev-w1-23); 3 Nephi 27:25 adds books 'which have been written' alongside those which shall be.
