Four hundred years after Christ, Moroni records 'my father and I have seen them, and they have ministered unto us' (Mormon 8:11) — the corpus's last sighting of the three, holding the promise that they would 'live to behold all the doings of the Father unto the children of men, even until all things shall be fulfilled' (3 Nephi 28:7). Context legs (note only): the disciples were taken from the people during Mormon's youth — Mormon 1:13 'the Lord did take away his beloved disciples', 1:16 'the beloved disciples were taken away out of the land, because of their iniquity'; Mormon 8:10 specifies of 'the disciples of Jesus, who did tarry in the land until the wickedness of the people was so great that the Lord would not suffer them to remain with the people'; and 4 Nephi 1:14 marks their continuation at a hundred years.
